Charles Anthony LoPresti passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Charlie, as he was known, grew up in upper Manhattan and the Bronx where he met his soulmate of 60 years, Myra (Cohen) LoPresti. Before retiring he worked as a steamfitter at Saks Fifth Ave. Charlie was a family man who loved get togethers and never missed opportunities for letting others know what he thought and telling his famous jokes.
Charlie (dad, and Grandpa) will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Myra, of New Rochelle, NY; and his four daughters; Deborah Friedman and her husband Marty of Shrewsbury, Ma.; Andrea LoPresti and her husband Rob Schweitzer of West Windsor, NJ.; Susan Albero and her husband Dominic of New Rochelle, NY; and Rosalie Ricci and her husband, Silvio of Hopewell Junction, NY; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, Laura, Nicholas, Ethan, Gabriella, and Samantha, plus four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Giovanni, Blake, and Eli.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, at 11:00am Rosehill Memorial Park, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY 10579.
