Eagle Scout, Merchant Marine and CPA (Stanley Katz &Co,
Berenson & Co). A founding member and staunch believer in the Ranachqua Foundation
(RanachquaFound@aol.com) which supports boy scouts from the Bronx by sending them to summer scout camp and providing college scholarships. A well known raconteur, Stanley collected lifetime friends and questionable jokes. He could sing almost every Broadway tune from back in the day. His warmth, curiosity and delight with life was evident to his family, friends and everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence, his devoted daughter, Cima (Gary Tebor),
step-children Roberta Wolf (Michael), Paul Eckstein (Denise), niece Susan Spalter,
and a beautiful and large blended family. Pre-deceased by his parents Nathan and Rose,
his sister Rhoda Handelsman and adored son Noah.
Graveside service at 1 pm, Mt Pleasant cemetery, Valhalla, NY. on Sunday, November 26
