Leo was an easy-going, happy spirit who cherished family. Loved by all who knew him, he had the moniker “the mayor” at United Hebrew Geriatric Center as Leo would travel the facility greeting everyone he encountered. Leo always had a smile and was an avid, or should I say rabid, New York Yankee fanatic. He faced many major medical issues in his life, including COVID beating them all.
Leo was affectionately known as Pop to family members
On June 28, 2021 Pop was called home

So, the next time we have a beer or glass of wine while watching the Yankees let’s toast Pop who is surely watching over his family while cheering for the Yankees from above…” Gin Don”
